About Hoggworks Studios

Hoggworks Studios was founded in 2007, when Brian Hogg started building dotBoom, the puppet show about web designers who hate themselves, in his basement in Kitchener, Ontario, on a shoe-string budget. In addition to creating this acclaimed show, Hoggworks has created several other shows, including Ask Palpatine and The Rant Puppets. All of our productions are known for not just the creative and technical quality of the puppets we feature in them, but also for the quality of the productions themselves, the performances, and — this is something we’re very proud of — the writing.

When we’re not building our own shows, we’re building creative puppets — and the productions they go into — for a variety of satisfied clients. To see a list of the projects we’ve done, go to our Projects Section. If you’d like to see the various puppets we’ve built, please see our Puppets Section.

At Hoggworks, the key is to creatively and technically challenge ourselves at every opportunity. We seek to grow our craft in every way with each project and puppet we undertake. That commitment to not just quality but also exceeding ourselves results in ever better puppets, and ever better puppet-related content.

If you’re interested in seeing what type of compelling, creative, original experience that we can build for you, using puppets, please get in contact with us. We look forward to hearing from you!
